ACCORDING TO WHAT WORKS FOR YOU
The word “Me-arian” (pronounced /mē'erēən/) came about because I, like many other people I come in contact with, have had the same experience. Start a new way of eating with hopes of improving my overall health, feel better about myself, and lose weight in the process. The first few days go by without hitch, and then that dreaded day comes where I would fall off the wagon. The negative self talk began. I would feel disappointed with myself for not being able to follow something to the “t” and end up right back where I started.
One day, I decided, no more. Just because I can’t follow a diet to a “t”, doesn’t mean I can’t improve my overall health. Plus, we all have our own bio-individuality. So I shouldn’t feel bad about a cookie cutter diet, because in the end, one size really does not fit all.
Since everyone has their own bio-individuality, and what works for me may not work for the next person; being a me-arian allows me to customize whatever diet (and lifestyle) I want to work for me.
The day of saying I’m vegetarian, vegan, keto, etc… are over.
I’m a me-arian. Doing what works for me and makes me happy.
This philosophy also applies to the way I dress, think and live.
Enjoy the freedom and happiness that comes along being a me-arian.
